Rare Bird
Malton's first distillery, Rare Bird is the brain child of husband and wife team Matt and Elizabeth Stewart who have created a delectable London Dry Gin. Based in Talbot Yard their vision for the distillery was to create a beautiful space where the public could visit. With exposed brickwork, vintage wood floors, chandeliers and an incredible copper still named 'Florence' they have done that in spades. Combine that with sexy blue bottle, the gin school upstairs and the drink itself (at its best with a nice tonic and slice of grapefruit) you have a very rare bird indeed. Upstairs at the a gin school visitors can even create their very own bespoke gin. |
